RECTIFICATION OF THE STATUTE AND TRANSMISSION OF THE RELEVANTPROCES-VERBAL

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary and withreference to depositary notification C.N.502.1998.TREATIES-3 of 25 September 1998 by whichcorrections were proposed to the original of the above Statute (Arabic, Chinese, English, French,Russian and Spanish authentic texts), and to the certified true copies, communicates the following:

By 6 November 1998, the date on which the period specified for the notification of objectionsto the proposed corrections expired, no objection had been notified to the Secretary-General.

Consequently, the Secretary-General has effected the required corrections in the original of theStatute (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish authentic texts) as well as in thecertified true copies. The corresponding Proces-verbal of rectification is transmitted herewith.

WHEREAS it appears that theoriginal of the Statute (Arabic,Chinese, English/ French, Russianand Spanish texts) contains errors,

WHEREAS the corresponding proposedcorrections have been communicatedto all interested States bydepositary notificationC.N.502.1998.TREATIES-3 of25 September 1998,
