Cases 1 & 2

Male admitted May. Found grounded. Joints swollen and deterioration of wing membrane. Treated with antibiotics. Joints and membrane functional, but joints still minimally swollen. Bat released in June.

Male admitted with generalized swelling at all joints and tail vertebrae. Minor lacerations noted on dorsal elbows. Developed progressive paralysis of hind legs and dry necrosis of outer fingers left wing. Euthanized. Joint tissue submitted for pathology.
