The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWB) is
issuing a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified
environmental professionals, non-profit, or community
organizations to implement a Green Infrastructure (GI)
project.
“Green infrastructure is an approach that communities can choose to
maintain healthy waters, provide multiple environmental benefits and
support sustainable communities…green infrastructure uses
vegetation and soil to manage rainwater where it falls.” (EPA)

• S&WB Downtown Administration Building
• 625 St. Joseph St.
Green Roof
• Public land (SWB or other)
• Plan, develop, implement and maintain one (1) or more GI demonstration projects on public land within Orleans Parish.
• Bioretention, Rain Gardens, Bioswales, Green Roofs, Tree Planting, Catchment, Permeable Paving
