~s .:~er the ·G.O. under reference (Copy annexed), Government have direel1!d all Government Departments to explore the possibility for installing Roof Top Solar power plants in Government buildings through KSEBL and ANERT under Soura project, which is the flagship proqramme of the State targeting to install SOOMW Roof Top Solar plan!s. Therefore, I reguest you to directall your line depar.;tments for taking further action in this regard. Rooftop solar have zero emissions and is· a great· step toward combating climate change and contributing to the green economy. It can be installed quickly and requires minimal maintenance. In addition a decrease in monthly electricity 'blll would help recover the initial capital costs.
