About us

YEAR OF ESTABLISHMENT

Kurgan meat processing plant, one of the oldest manufacturers in Kurgan region and the country in general, was the business merger of the Danish export hog-killing plant Bruehl&Tegersen, the British company Union, which produced bacon and sausage, and the sausage manufacturing plant owned by the Russian merchant Sorokin and the Shelyagin brothers.

Since 2005 Kurgan meat processing plant has been essential part of the Urals Agricultural Group, a large business engaged in crop production, pig farming and meat processing. This vertically integrated holding structure allowsto precisely control each production stage and minimize production costs.

Safe and convenient packaging

Our can-making department manufactures tin cans for stewed products. Cans are made of tinplates, manufactured specially for food industry purposes by Iron and Steel Plant in Magnitogorsk (Magnitogorskiy Metallurgicheskiy Kombinat). All tinplates are covered with can enamel suitable for food industry use in a coating machine to become the most reliable meat container in the world. Just think of it, these airtight tin containers can successfully survive in a steaming hot African desert and preserve all the goodness of savoury meats for three years since manufacture date.
