So How Does it Work?
Copyright 2016 Schools Industry Partnership All rights reservedWe find Host EmployersWe send a list of Host Employers to you school 6 weeks prior to your work placementYou pick your work placement from the list provided
Yes, there is some paperwork!
Your teacher will give you a StudentPlacement Record to be signed by your parents
You bring the paperwork back to school to be copied
You take a copy of the paperwork to your work placement
This covers your insurance

How does the employer help?

What is your role as a student prior to work placement?
Phone your employer on the Tuesday prior or what is listed on your paperwork. Write a checklist of what to ask your employer.Introduce yourself and make sure you have the correct location of your work placement.
