Put students in pairs. Distribute strips of paper. They write a sentence, using TL about a picture on each strip of paper. Teacher checks it and puts in bag/on chair. Redistribute strips of paper. Students match the sentences to the picture.
Roleplay between characters in the picture – written then spoken
Students draw a regrettable situation. (Give examples if necessary). Pass on and others write a caption. Repeat 3 or 4 times before giving back to original pair. Which caption do you like best?
