-Read The Ghost Witch that I’ve assigned to you on Epic – it might help you with your own spooky story!

-Can you have a go at writing the opening for your spooky story?-I’ve included a story opening check list for you -but don’t forget to use accurate punctuation, paragraphs, spellings (use a dictionary if you’re unsure) and exciting openings to your sentences.-Don’t forget to share your story openings with me on Class Dojo so that I can give you some comments and guidance

- White Rose Maths Home Learning – Multiply decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 (week 9 lesson 3)https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-5/Plus, Fluent in 5 Week 33 – day 3 (document sent via ParentMail) and the remaining 2 lessons across the rest of the week;-and if you have time dividing decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 (lesson 4 for White Rose Maths) You could also have a go at the Friday challenge.

Choose 2-3 activities to do on the other two days – or you can spread out the above work over 5 days and add these ideas in too!

- Can you have a go at planning a spooky story?- Use the word mat and the spooky pictures to help you (saved on the website).

Always practise your reading every day, spellings (see below) and keep up your practice on TT rock stars!MINDFUL:

Science:-This half term we are learning all about life cycles and living things!- Read the presentation all about Jane Goodall saved on the home learning page:

- Have a go at completing the two worksheets – the first one is a ‘fact or fiction’ sheet about Jane Goodall.The other sheet is about writing an advert Jane Goodall – you will need to share this with someone in your family.
