Read the text about Globalisation and check if you were right or not:

Globalisation refers to the idea that the world is developing a single economy and culture as a result of improved technology and communications and the influence of very large multinational companies. The world is seen as a global village in which all countries depend on each other and seem to be closer together.

The next task for you is to examine two following hypotheses:

The first one is:teenagers are natural globalists. They want to know more about other people

and places. They are interested in technological developments and want to learn more about technology. They

want to experience other cultures.

The second hypothesis is:

teenagers are afraid of globalisation. They are not interested in people from other places, don’t want to buy any foreign goods

and don’t want to connect with other cultures at all.

The result of our research suggests that teenagers are natural globalists and are largely in favour of globalisation.
