5 Intended use
Basic information on the device constructionThedeviceisconstructedaccordingtoastateoftheartdesignandrecognizedsafetyregulations.However,ifitisusedinappropriately,hazardsforthehealthandsafetyoftheuserorthirdpartiesmayariseaswellastheriskofdamagingthedeviceandothervaluableassets.
Unauthorized modes of operationTheoperationofthedevicewithpowersources,products,etc.whichareconsideredhazardousorcapableofnegativelyimpactingthehealthoftheoperatingpersonnelisnotpermitted.Theuseofequipmentmodifiedbytheuserisalsoprohibited.

Neverstartupthedevicewithoutthefiringsocketattached.Incontinuousoperation(max.finaltemperature,max.firingtime),somepartsofthefiringchambermayreachhightemperatures(above70°C(158ºF)).
Donotreachintotheopenfiringchamberwhenthedeviceisswitchedon.Thereisariskoftouchingelectricallyliveorhotparts.
9.5 Information about the identification platesThispictogramwarnsofhazardousvoltage.Beforeopeningthedevice,itmustbedisconnectedfromthemainspowersupplybypullingoutthemainsplug.
Aftertheback-platehasbeenremoved,avoltageofupto400voltsmaystillexistincomponentsintheareaofthepowersupplyunitonthecircuitboard,evenwhenthedeviceisswitchedoff.
Do not place any objects in the area of the lift plate. Whenthedeviceisswitchedon,theliftwillmovedowntothelowerposition.Whenputtingdownthefiringobjects,usethelaterallyextendablestorageplates.

9.6 Connecting the device to the mains power supply
Important! Before first use, read section 6 on safety information!
Forinformationabouttheconnections,seesect.9.2• Attachtheconnectioncabletothecontrolunitandthefurnace.• Pluginthestatusdisplay.• Connectthevacuumpump,powersupplyandtubeconnection.• Connectthedevicetothemainspowersupplyusingthesupplied mainspowercable.
Important! Avoid connecting to multiple-outlet power strips with extension cords. In the event of overloading, a risk of fire exists.
• Switchonthedeviceatthemainswitch.Theliftmovestothelower position.• Cleanorwipetheliftplateandtheliftplategasket(dustparticlesfrom theinsulationaredepositedduringtransportationofthedevice).• Attachthefiringsockettotheliftplate.
Important! Never start up the device without the firing socket attached!
9.7 Switching off the device, or stopping its operation
Whenthedeviceisnotinoperation,theliftshouldbemovedintothefiringchamberandthedevicemustbeswitchedoffatthemainswitch(seesect.9.2).Closingthefiringchamberprotectstheinsulationandpreventstheabsorptionofmoisture.

10 Cleaning the furnaceBefore each cleaning operation, remove the power supply plug!Itisnotnecessarytocleantheinsideofthefiringchamber.Cleaningthecasingofthefiringchamberatregularintervalswithadampclothcontributestoitsoperatingsafety.In all cleaning work, you must never use any detergents or flammable liquids.
10.1 Cleaning firing for the firing chamber
Consulttheoperatingmanualofthecorrespondingcontrolunitforinformationaboutthecleaningfiring.
10.2 Firing chamber insulation
Thefiringchambercontainsinsulatingmaterialcomprisedofceramicmineralfibers(indexno.650-017-00-08)thathavebeenclassifiedascategory2carcinogens(AnnexVI,EC1272/2008).Whenworkingwiththefiringchamberorexchangingthefiringmuffle,fiberdustmaybedischarged.Exposuretothisdustcanpotentiallybecarcinogeniconinhalation,aswellasresultinirritationoftheskin,eyesandrespiratoryorgans.Whenexchangingthefiringmuffle,proceedasfollows:
• Long-sleevedprotectiveclothing• Wearsafetygogglesaswellasprotectivegloves• UseadustvacuumsystemorwearaFFP2respirator
Onceworkhasbeencompleted,rinsedustfromunprotectedskinusingcoldwater.Washworkwearseparatelyfromeverydayclothing.
11 CE markWiththeCEmark,alegallybindingdeclarationismadetotheeffectthatthedevicecorrespondstothefundamentalrequirementsofEuropeanCommunityDirective2006/95/EC(Low-VoltageDirective)andEuropeanCommunityDirective2004/108/EC/EWG(EMCDirective).
12 FanThedeviceisequippedwithafan.Activation,deactivationandspeedofthefanarecontrolledautomatically.Thefanpreventsexcessiveheatingofthedeviceandcontributestoitsgeneraloperatingsafety.Ifthefanfails,anerrormessageisshownonthedisplay.(Forinformationaboutthis,refertotheErrorMessagessectionofthecontrolunit’soperatingmanual.)Forsafetyreasons,thedevicemustnotbeoperatedwithoutafan.Theuppercoverofthefiringchamberandtheopeningsintherearcovermustnotbeclosedorblocked.

13 Mains power supply failureThedeviceisequippedwithpowersupplyfailureprotection.Thiscomponentpreventsaprograminterruptionandthereforeamisfiringintheeventofabrieffailureofthemainspowersupply.Thepowerfailureprotectionbecomeseffectiveassoonasthemainspowersupplyfailswhenafiringprogramisrunning.

Theprogramcontinuestorunandisnotinterrupted.Thedisplayisoutoforderduringthisperiod.Thedisplayshowstherunningprogramagainfollowingthemainspowersupplyprograminterruption.
