A large enough sample to bestatistically…

9

More women than men visit “most” of our museums…

10

Great for little children… where are the teenagers?

11

We aren’t as good at attracting people from less-wealthy backgrounds as we want to be…

12

Lots of people come back to us again and again(but do they find new things when they do?)

13

Only a few of our visitors are specialists, most know very little before they arrive (how should we gear our interpretation)

14

How long do they stay? Will they stay for lunch?

15

What do they get out of a visit?

16

St Fagans attracts lots and lots of visitors with disabilities(but are we accessible to them?)

17

Equality Act (2010)

Provides legal rights for disabled people who want to access places likeSt Fagans.

St Fagans is required to make reasonable adjustments to ensure thata disabled person is not put at a substantial disadvantage when accessingservices.

Ultimately a judge in a court of law is the arbiter of what is reasonable.

A disabled person can bring a civil court action if they feel we haven’t anticipatedtheir needs.

18

VisionSense
