Who is ETCleanFuels?

• Designated member of U.S. DOE “Clean Cities” Program

• 8-yr old nonprofit in East TN• Focused on transportation sector change:

Diversify away from petroleum alone and use less!• Meetings; direct fleet & fuel supplier assistance; workshops;

presentations to the commercial/industrial/government community and to schools; multiple newsletters

• GRANTS – Writing, and building submission partners

Utility Involvement in FY’09 Clean Cities $300M ARRA Projects - NYSERDA – $13.3M – 2 utilities part of large group that will put CNG,

LPG, EV and hybrid vehicles and infrastructure throughout the state Another 3-4 projects that are involving utilities for different alt fuels

FY’09 Non-ARRA Utility Involvement in the Clean Cities “Petroleum Reduction Technology Projects” - Questar Gas (Utah) – 4 new public CNG stations Oklahoma Natural Gas – More Tulsa NGVs & education Southern CA Gas Co. – CNG dispensers for Temecula Unified Schools

Also, FY‘09 $300 million eTec/Nissan Trans. Electrification work – Lots of utilities will be working on Evs and electric infrastructure!
