JULIUS M. NOLTE AWARD
Extraordinary leadership
Given to an individual in recognition of unique and extraordinary contributions to the cause of continuing education on the regional, national, and/or international level.
Honors the memory of Julius M. Nolte, a pioneer in the field of continuing higher education. Nolte served as Dean of General Extension at the University of Minnesota from 1934 to 1962, NUEA President in 1950-51 and as Secretary/Treasurer of the Association from 1956 to 1964.

Adelle Robertson served the Association with distinction and dedication, setting an example for those who would follow. The Robertson Award recognizes professionals who demonstrate similar commitment and promise.
Recognizes the scholarship, leadership and contributions to the profession of a person who has entered the profession in the past five to ten years.

Language Coordinator, Personnel Officer, or Associate Editor of the
Continuing Higher Education Review, Wayne has performed each
assignment with élan and distinction. His record personifies the
Walton S. Bittner Citation for Outstanding Service and we salute him
accordingly.”
