Performance This type of music video shows the artist or band

performing to the camera for most or all of the time.

This style is usually preferred by rock bands so they

can show to the audience that they are playing the

instruments as well as singing.

Narrative This is a type of music video that tells a story often that

relates to the lyrics or genre of the song.

Conceptual Concept videos are based around a single idea or

concept and are usually unusual and obscure, even

surreal for the audience.
