QUESTIONS

Considerations for Circuit Training

1. All students are active2. All students experience success3. Allow for student choice4. The order of stations is important5. Rest is not a bad thing6. Any exercise can be made fun it

just takes a little imagination

Stations

Stations can start with 1. Upper Body2. Lower Body3. Core4. Cardiovascular5. Rest/Stretch (low intensity)6-10 Repeat 1-5

Station Ideas

• Upper Body– Planks– Push ups (not what we grew up with)

• Lower Body– Squats– Lunges

• Core– Superman– Spiderman– Sit ups

• Cardiovascular– Burpees– Jumping (Jacks, rope, lines, boxes, etc.)

Equipment Ideas

• ½ gallon & gallon plastic jugs filled with water or sand.

• ½ tennis balls• Jump ropes cut in ½• Noodles• Bean bags• Yarn balls

Questions & Ideas
