On the day Plan your journey
Arrive in plenty of time Know what equipment is required – have a back up
If running late – let them know
Always have questions ?
• Where do you see this University/ Hospital go in the next 5 years ?
• What is the biggest challenge for a new student midwife/ newly qualified Midwife
• What challenges do you see the University/Trust have in the future.
• Why did you become a midwife
• Better to have them written down and even if already answered show that you have prepared some questions.
Clinical presentations/meetings Common presentations usually high profile challenges
• Resilience
• Human factors
• Continuity of care
• Diversity and Demographics /Equality of services
• Ensuring safe care
• Clinical Governance
