Craigslist – How to post

• Print out the MLS or Point2 info sheet

• Know where 1 photo is

Step 1: Get your facts together

• Determine the following:PRICE: _____________________

HEADING: __________________

SPECIFIC LOCATION / Neighborhood: ________

CROSS STREETS: ___________

Step 2: Select Point2 SyndicationMenu Options -> Listings -> Manage -> Select Listings -> Syndicate

Step 3: Click Next to accept these Syndications

Step 4: Click the Post Listing button by Craigslist

Step 5: Review the tutorial for CraigslistClick on the Here by click Here

Click on the here

Step 6: The Craigslist window will open in a new window – Select Housing Offered

Make sure you are in the correct City

SelectHousing Offered

Step 7: Select Real Estate By Broker

SelectReal Estate by Broker

Step 8: Switch back to Point2 and selectCopy Text to Clipboard

Select Copy Text to Clipboard

Use ALT + TAB To switch between

applications

Step 9: Switch back to Craigslist

Paste the Point2 info by putting your cursor in the POSTING DESCRIPTION: section and right-click then select PASTE. This will actually display the photos and text on Point2.

Then fill in the rest of the info

LAST, upload 1 photo so that Craigslist so the property will have the Craigslist Photos Available icon on it

Step 10: Craigslist confirmation display page appears

Select Continue

Step 11: Accept Craiglist Terms

Select Accept

Step 12: Type the Secret Code words used to validate a human is making this request and not another computer

1. Type in the code above

2. Click Continue

Step 13: You can close this final Craigslist screen

Step 14: Go to your email and open the email from Craigslist

Select the Craigslist link which will open a new window with a page to Publish your listing (see next slide)

Click the Craigslist Link

Step 15: Click the PUBLISH buttonOr edit if you need to make changes

Click the Publish Button

Step 15: Save the email as you will need it of you have to change the price, etc.
