IT ALL BEGAN WITH

entire competition without bending or cracking! Noone had never seen anything like it…….”

• Electrical Installation partnership company.

• A bar in hardened special steel is produced.

ELEIKO THROUGH

THE DECADES

• 1969: Eleiko approved as the first IWF

certified company.

• 1970: Eleiko is mainly weightlifting

exporting worldwide.

• 1980: Eleiko is still mainly weightlifting but

also powerlifting worldwide.

• 1990: Aquired by the Blomberg family. Weightlifting,

powerlifing, Strength and condititioning and education.

THE SIMILARITIES Eleiko Sport Training range

vs Eleiko Olympic range:

- The bars are made of the same Swedish

steel quality as the Olympic bars.

- The flexibility of the bar is perfectly balanced

and the durability is unsurpassed.

- The strength rating of the bars is 215 000 PSI.

- All bars are individually tested in accordance with the

Eleiko quality policy and provided with a serial number.

- The discs come fully colored as per the Olympic color

scale.

THE DIFFERENCES Eleiko Sport Training range

vs Eleiko Olympic range:

- The Eleiko Sport Training range is not IWF certified or calibrated and hence it does not comply with IWF

standards for use at international competitions.

- The Eleiko Sport Training Bars have eight precision bearings which guarantee superior sleeve rotation

and durability. The Eleiko Olympic WL bars have ten precision bearings in order to optimise

performance for professional weightlifting with extreme requirements.

- The Eleiko Olympic WL Discs are tested for 5000 drops, the Eleiko Sport Training Discs for 3000.

- Disc hole tolerance: Eleiko Olympic WL Discs: 50,5±0,05 mm vs.disc hole tolerance: Eleiko Sport

Training Discs: 50,4-51,0 mm to enable easier loading.

- The Eleiko Olympic WL Discs have printed features in a contrast color. The Eleiko Sport Training discs

have no such additional color and have a more subtle appearance.

- The Eleiko Sport Training Platform is 2 x 2 meters instead of 3 x 2,5 meters (Eleiko Olympic WL

Training Platform). This allows for more efficient use of space.
