KNSRT REHEARSALS ●Be ready to go by the beginning rehearsal time- in place and
ready to work

REHEARSALS CONT’DSign-In Policy
●Parents/Guardians/Adults must sign in the child at the box office for every rehearsal○leave cell # where you can be reached that day/evening
●No curbside drop off
●Cast/Crew should stay on WAG property and in view of production leaders
●Pre-arrange pick-up transportation
●Arrive 5 minutes before end-time for prompt pickup
Your child’s safety is our primary concern
REHEARSALS CONT’D●Two-deep leadership○production team or WAG Board members
●Rehearsal schedule reminders or changes will be communicated weekly

●Please notify the Production Manager ASAP of any change in schedule conflicts

COSTUMES●You may be asked to provide some costume pieces
●Refer to the costume mistress’ for ideas○evaluate your character and how they might dress
●For specialized costumes review the plan with costume mistress○If WAG has it in costume closet it can be used.
○The production donation goes toward WAG costume expenses.
COSTUMES CONT’DCostume Guidelines
●Costumes will be stored at WAG○always return to costumes to proper location / check them in
●Remove costumes carefully○actors should ask green room adults for assistance, if needed
●Only clear liquids and “clean” foods while in or around costumes
●Maintain controlled behavior while in costume to prevent damage
●Volunteers will help manage costumes
MAKE-UP & HAIR●Hair will be actors responsibility and approved by directors during
costume preview and costume parade○If assistance is needed with hair styling/prep, please let us know.
●Apply foundation before arrival
●Eat before call time
●Go to make-up room at call time ONLY○Stay in Green Room until call time or after make-up
●Please have a bag labeled with actor’s name for combs, brushes, mascara or personal makeup items. Don’t forget to wear and bring deodorant.
●Avoid sharing any personal items with fellow actors 100% of the time!!!
CREW●Stage Manager will set up a separate meeting for crew
●Crew expected to wear○Black pants
○WAG Crew or black shirts
○Non-slip shoes (black preferred)
●Crew will attend on mandatory rehearsals beginning 02/08.
PROPSProp Donations
●Some minor prop items may be needed which will be requested through Production Manager communications
Props Guidelines
●Only crew should handle most props
●Actors only use props assigned to your role
●Handle props with care
●Use them only for what they are intended
●Put props back where they belong
HOUSE/BOX OFFICE●Ticket pricing: $15
●Ticket sales open now! General admission seating except for Friends of WAG
●Volunteers are needed for:○box office
○usher
○lobby & theater clean-up
○online sign-up request to come via email
CONCESSIONS●Concession profits help us meet our budget needs
●$20 donation per Actor & Crew member
●Volunteers are needed to work during performances (online sign-up to come)

GREEN ROOMGreen Room Guidelines
●Be respectful of cast-mates, volunteers, & yourself
●Be on time, prepared, and focused
●Maintain a positive and respectful attitude
●Treat others like you want to be treated
●Clean up after yourself
●Wear deodorant!!!
Remember we are a family!
GREEN ROOM OBJECTIVES●Encouragement and teamwork; continuing to foster the family
atmosphere from rehearsals
●Organized, safe, clean area with restful space for those who need it
●Focused, prepared performers
●Noise level that does not disturb the audience or action on stage
●Respect and pride in each performer and everyone else involved in the production at the end of the day
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE GREEN ROOM…●All performers are expected to sit in assigned seats unless given permission otherwise by
the Green Room leader
●Performers may speak to each other in quiet voices
○they are not required to be silent when the doors are shut
●When theater entrance doors are open, performers are expected to be silent
●The Green Room leader may ask for silence briefly at other times to control the noise level
●Sometimes the lights will be turned out when theater doors are open or if the Green Room team needs to settle the room
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE GREEN ROOM…●Electronic devices are allowed until they become a distraction.
●Green Room volunteers may be asked to help with the following tasks:
○keeping the performers’ noise level low so as not to be heard by the audience
○monitor backstage groups to help with excessive talking.
○adjust costumes, tape microphones (with instruction) or refresh face powder
○open/close theater entrance doors with cues
○obtain snacks for the performers during intermissions or breaks
HOW TO VOLUNTEER IN THE GREEN ROOM…AND KEEP YOUR SANITY
●Be prompt○arrive 15 minutes before a rehearsal shift
○arrive 1 hour before a performance shift
●Don’t sweat the small stuff
●Keep your pom-poms ready! ○We are often the first and last adults to see the actors in-between
scenes.
○Offer praise for good behavior, encouragement for the occasional struggles.
○Help with constructive solutions for those who find the Green Room a challenging environment.
HOW TO VOLUNTEER IN THE GREEN ROOM…AND KEEP YOUR SANITY
●Ask for help○Sometimes things beyond performers’ control happen, a performer needs a little
more guidance or the performers have trouble resolving a conflict themselves○In those cases, inform the Green Room Manager so that he/she can observe the
situation with you, find additional help or escalate as needed○Two sets of eyes are needed to confirm the behavior
○Actors who violate the behavior contract will have the following consequences:■Warning issued by a member of the production team■Conversation with the parent and two members of the production team■Parent must sit with the actor in the greenroom

great time doing it!
