Blocking Notation

Blocking notation is a way to record your planned movement – a shorthand for writing it fast and accurately so you remember it.

Doing the same movement every time helps you recall the words and the words help you recall the blocking.

Before you begin to block, you need another piece of information. What is it?

You need to know (or decide) what the set looks like: where the doors and stairs and furniture are placed.
