For each wagon the Lead RU (RU acting as ServiceIntegrator) must establish and update a trip plan whichcorresponds to the train path at train level.

The Wagon Trip Plans must be stored by each LRU in adatabase.

› Better management of the wagon fleet: improvements in its utilisation &potential reduction of the fleet.

› Direct benefits due to the reduced wagon prices.

› Empty wagon movement reduction from 45 to 20% -> reduce operationcosts for RUs.

› Increase in system maintenance.
