TECHNOLOGICAL

SKILLS LEARNT

DURING

PRODUCTION

BY DARYL TEAGUE

IMPROVEMENT OF

PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS

During my production, my

photography skills have

improved as I have been

experimenting with different

angles and shots which are

more conventional, and also

using more mise-en-scene which

has improved also as I have

managed to use settings which

are conventional of the rock

genre. I took many photos which

enabled me to have variety in my

photos.

MY PHOTO EDITING

SKILLS HAVE IMPROVED

Also in my production, I had to edit

photos to make them more

conventional, I edited them in

several ways, ways such as

cropping and adding filters which

make it fit into the rock genre and

allow the photos to appeal to my

target audience. I used 3 photo

editing programmes, Adobe

Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop and

Microsoft Publisher. These

programmes allowed me to edit my

photos to make them as

conventional as possible.

MY TYPOGRAPHY SKILLS

HAVE IMPROVED

As a result of my production, I have

managed to use conventional fonts

which have enabled my magazine to be

conventional and appealing to my

target audience. I used two websites

which have a wide range of fonts, the

fonts have allowed me to display an

aggressive mode of address which is

what I aimed for as it is conventional of

the rock genre. The two websites were

– www.dafont.com and

www.fontspace.com
