Coasts—close to the ocean

THE POMO INDIANS HUNTED FOR FOOD. THEY WOULD USE:
Snares Nets Spears Clubs Bolas-to catch geese Sling and clay balls Bow and ArrowsTo capture squirrels they would smoke them
out or drown them out.

FOOD Ate a lot of different kinds of food Daily food would be: acorns, fish, berries,
meat, chestnuts, buckeyes, wild grapes and conifer trees
They would not eat these foods because they were thought to be bad luck:
