Supplemental materials for the “Ionic Equilibria” course.

In the attached pages, you will find excerpts from a book on Microsoft Excel published in 1997.Examples in this book are based on Excel version 7.0. Details of certain procedures (includingthe dialog boxes) may be different if you use a newer version of Excel. However, the basicprinciples are still the same or very similar. If you have problems implementing some of theexamples from the book, try finding the answers in the Help built into Excel. In any case, it isvery important that you familiarize yourself with the procedures described in the materials andwork through the examples, so that you can spend your time efficiently when working on theassignments for the course. It is a good idea to work through the examples even if you arefamiliar with some, or even most of them – after all, practice makes perfect!
