Welcome to Issue 9 of our newsletter, outlining the environmental andenergy saving investment we have made over the last 12 months.

With the environment being such a big issue now we have embarked onattaining our WEEE approval but prior to that have been recycling ourcardboard and other waste materials. All these measures are not onlykinder to the world we live in but also allow SKN Electronics to continue toremain competitive for years to come to the benefit of our customers.

Once again we are at that time of the year when we would like to takethe opportunity to wish all our customers and suppliers a very goodXmas break and a prosperous New Year and thank you for all yourcustom and help during the past 12 months.

To ensure that SKN Electronicsmaintain their competitive edgenow and in the future as well ashelping to reduce global warmingwe have installed 270 Solar Panelson the roof of our building whichbetween them can produce 50kwper hour on a normal sunny day.This will represent over 1/3rd ofour total annual electricity usage.The useful productive life of the system is over 30 years and we havegenerated over 41,000 kWh so far in the 10 months from the installationdate, despite below average sunshine this year.

Further measures to reduce our carbon footprint include installing a heatrecycling system which is expected to reduce our heating costs by a half.

We will be closed from the 21st December 2012 until the 2nd January 2013
