For the week, there were 23 main leaks and 460 service interruptions.
Water-Saving Devices for Customers Commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily customers can save money and reduce their water use through a variety of rebates. By upgrading their facilities, businesses are not only using water wisely, but taking advantage of an opportunity to save on their bills. For fiscal year 2018-19 (through August), 5,328 high-efficiency toilet devices and 130 low-water urinals were installed, which saved approximately 23.6 million gallons of water. This total amount of water savings is equivalent to supplying a 17 single-family homes in Los Angeles.
Turf Replacement Rebate This past year LADWP increased its turf removal rebate to $2.00 per square foot for both residential and commercial customers. From 2009 through July 2018, LADWP customers replaced ~49 million square feet of turf with California friendly® and native landscaping. This has resulted in approximately 1.96 billions of gallons of water saved annually.

Outages
96.99% customers experienced NO OUTAGES
For the week, there were 248 outage incidents, affecting 45,185 customers, including:
16 full and partial circuit outages that affected 19,670 customers mostly in Vermont-Slauson, South Park, Green Meadows, Vermont Knolls, and Venice.
14 transformer outages that affected 1,273 customers mostly in Mar Vista, Koreatown, El Sereno, Jefferson Park, and Sun Valley.
Solar Incentive Program (SIP) SIP, LADWP’s net-meter solar program, offers incentives to offset the cost of installing a solar rooftop system at a home or business.
As of October 9, 2018, approximately 245 megawatts (MW) from approximately 32,440 solar installations have been incentivized through $320.8 million in rebates, and put in service since the program began in 1999. Within LADWP’s service area, there is a total of 278 MW from 36,830 customer-owned net-meter photovoltaic solar systems.
During the week, SIP staff confirmed 95 incentive reservations and processed each within one day’s time. Calls to the Solar Hotline were answered within 24 hours.
Energy Savings for Commercial Customers During the week of September 28 – October 4, 2018, approximately 1,304 megawatt-hours (Mwh) were saved through the Commercial Lighting Incentives Program and the Custom Performance Program. For fiscal year 2018-19 all Efficiency Solutions Commercial Industrial and Institutional Programs have saved Los Angeles customers nearly 1,324 megawatt-hours annually, which is equivalent to taking 100 automobiles off the road and avoiding 463 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year.
Outdoor Area Lighting LADWP’s Outdoor Area Lighting Group in the Power System installs outdoor lighting on power poles and streetlights in order to add much needed perimeter lighting for schools, homes and businesses. This is a popular service that increases
