What we do:

Agronomy Quality

Sustainability

Agronomy Program

• Agronomy best practices are key, to improve yield and production.

• C.A.F.E Practices standards and other sustainable standards are increasingly introduced to farmers to ensure improved coffee growing practices.

Quality Program

The quality program is to increase knowledge in specialty coffee-its characteristics, taste profiles and value.

Farmers are trained in right cherry picking.

Program supports to improve balance sheet and coffee quality at wet mills and cooperatives.

Quality and production control at wet mills.

Socioeconomic development

• There are spectrum of challenges that impede the social development of farmers. Due to our daily involvement with farmers, it was realized that not only should we be concerned with boosting the health of coffee trees, but that of people -it is what sustainability calls for.

• Coffee farmers need to be empowered to achieve meaningful and sustainable lives and to be encouraged to set their own priorities and needs which will improve their social life. Providing trainings which will involve them in social responsibilities and community development will enhance a positive change to better conditions in terms of income, health, decision-making, and social networks.
