Our aims for the FA SSF Development Fund 2013-17• Significantly increase youth and adult Small Sided

Football participation.• Attracting new adult players into football: participants

who do not normally play any form of football.• Significantly enhances the quality and satisfaction of

participants’ football experience.• Encouraging adult football participation in female,

disabled and BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) groups.• Projects that are unique or innovative in their

approach.• Projects that look to create a two-way link with adult

1. Age criteria to be reduced from 16 years+ to 14 years+

2. Unlimited applications by commercial SSF providers at each funding round

3. Increase the number of Funding Rounds to 6 over a 12 month period

4. Long-term Delivery Plans to be explored with SSF commercial providers

5. Funding Workshops for Commercial SSF Providers

number of projects funded below £10K

• Funding released on a performance related basis over 12 months and quarterly review meetings.

5. Exiting the project – will it be sustainable? Does it generate an income that will be re-invested?
