Established in 2016, the Handlebar Bicycle Club (‘HBC”) is 501(c)(3) organizaBon with an emphasis on charitable events, rider educaBon & development, road & mountain bike racing, and event promoBon in the Katy-‐Fulshear-‐Richmond area of the greater Houston, Texas area. HBC begins as an extension of Handlebar Cyclery, one of the newest and most exciBng bicycle shops in the Katy-‐Fulshear-‐Richmond area and the first major shop in the Fulshear area. HBC receives full support from Handlebar Cyclery which has sponsored weekly rides on the weekends and during the week, as well as a BP MS 150 team and the West Houston Composite High School Mountain Bike Team. The weekly rides draw in excess of 50 riders on a consistent basis.

Cycling is growing sport in the Houston region and more specifically, in the
Katy-‐Fulshear-‐Richmond area. On any given weekend, you are likely to witness over 1,000 people riding bicycles in the
area west of Highway 99. Your company will be recognized as a strong
supporter of cycling in the area.
Cycling is also a lifelong acBvity, appeals to all age groups, is one of the most popular and fastest growing sports in the U.S., represents a $3.5 billion industry, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and is the second most popular recreaBonal acBvity in the world. The HBC Team uniforms and clothing will contain sponsor panels (as per the below example) that will be worn throughout the year at races, charity events, and training rides.
