Sophomore Requirements English (1.0) American Studies (.5) Math (1.0)

› Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2 (Regular or Accelerated)

Science (1.0)› Physical Science, Chemistry

PE 2 4.0 Electives

**Electives could be study hall, world language, etc.**

Sophomore Requirements Graduation Reminders:

› Pass Reading, Writing and Math State Tests› .5 Career Credit› 24 total credits for Standard Diploma

Chancellors Diploma Requirements above Standard

Diploma:› 26 total credits (not 24)› 2 years of World Language› Through Algebra 2 for Math› 16 academic credits› C or higher in all academic classes› Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher

Honors Diploma Requirements above Standard

Diploma:› At least 8 eligible courses (all AP courses,

most Honors/Advanced/Accelerated, etc.)› Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher› 3 years of the same World Language› 26 total credits (not 24)› Enrolled in minimum of 6 classes each year

Post High School Options Community College 4-Year university Trade School Military Employment

Community College 2+ years Modified or Standard Diploma,

Undocumented students – all ok! Placement Tests for Reading, Writing, Math

› Remedial Courses Some have Dorms
