Dome mountains are formed by the completion of a large amount of melted stone shoving it’s way upwards, below the earth’s crust. Without exploding onto the surface, the stone pushes up the overlaying rock layers. This is how a dome mountain is formed.
Volcanic mountains are created by volcanoes. Though they are also formed when magma, under the earth erupts and truckloads under the surface. This is how a volcanic mountains are formed.
Plateaus are huge even spaces that have been dragged over the sea level by forces inside the Earth or have been created piles of magma. Plateau mountains usually tower 600 meters over sea level. You will usually find Plateau mountains next to folded mountains.
