How to build apps for Moverio BT-200?

• Moverio BT-200 is an Android 4.0.4 – API Level 15 Device

• Use the standard Android SDK to build apps

• Apps can use the SensorService to read the sensor data:

No need for proprietary Epson Moverio specific API for sensing data

• Landscape Screen orientation only

• Uses Android 4.0 Tablet UI for full screen display

• Side by Side 3D format is supported

• Set background to black for transparency view

Differences from Smartphone

• Keys and key events are the same as standard Android OS Displays in landscape mode

• HOME/MENU/BACK Key are hardware buttons

• No touch screen feature on the display itself (only touch pad on the controller is supported)

• Track pad uses relative position method similar to PC

• The cursor is displayed in a graphic image

• Wi-Fi only (3G, LTE and other are not supported)

• Services that require Google Certification are not supported
