Special mode in PowerPoint Allows you to modify slides and layouts in

presentations

Modifying backgrounds ◦ Add a logo to every slide ◦ Change the background

Rearrange placeholders ◦ Change one layouts in Slide Master changes all

Customizing text formatting ◦ Rather than change the font size and/or color on

every slide individually, change it once for all Create unique slide layouts ◦ Make your presentation your own

Select the View tab then Slide Master

Scroll up to select the first slide ◦ This is the slide

master

Use the desired tabs on the Ribbon to make changes ◦ To add a logo,

select insert picture

Move, resize or delete other slide objects as needed

When finished, click Close Master View

The change will appear on all slides

When inserting a background graphic you want to send it behind all other objects

One the Slide Master tab, click Themes, then select Save Current Theme
