IntroductionResearch shows that updating the skills of staff or retraining them in new areas improves an organisation’s productivity, profitability and ability to adapt to change. In fact, organisations that do not train their staff are two-and-a-half times more likely to go out of business than those that invest in training. (Source: UK commission for Employment & Skills – Ambition 2020)

Following feedback from companies, we have put together this general guide to show the major providers of training in various sectors in Luton. Please note that this is not a Luton Borough Council list of approved providers, and is designed as general guide only.

We have given examples of some of the courses and sectors that our main providers cover. In addition, many of the providers also offer support to businesses with opportunities for apprenticeships, internships and assistance with graduate recruitment.
