THE TITANIC

Welcome on board!

This is the story of the Titanic, the world’s biggest ship in the year 1914. It is the most famous ship in history. Why? Let’s see…

The world’s biggest ship must have the best things ever. The Titanic had five restaurants, a

ballroom, seven lounges, a swimming pool, and a tennis court!

On the Titanic there were rich people (First Class) and poor people (Third Class).

The ship left England for New York. Everyone was very happy and excited. The crowd cheered, and The band

played happy songs.

The Titanic sailed off into the sun.

What is that on the horizon?

Oh, no! It’s an iceberg!

My goodness! The Titanic is going to hit the iceberg!

The Titanic suddenly hit the iceberg. Water started to come in. Help! The ship is sinking!

Get into the lifeboats!

Send an S.O.S. signal!

There were not enough lifeboats. Everyone began to panic. Women and children first, please!

The band began to play for one last time.

The ship began to sink.

Going, going…

Gone.

The next morning, another ship came to rescue the survivors. Nobody could believe the Titanic had sunk.

Where did the Titanic sink?

A mini submarine was sent down to find her.

She was found off the coast of Canada. Some people want to raise her, or make an underwater museum.

But the memory of the Titanic lives on.
