Ms. M. Jordan• Mr. Ballesteros visited each class and gave tutorial

on how to use various databases.

• Topics were assigned completed final project including research, prewriting, drafting, revising and editing.

• Assembled descriptive writing assignments including personal journaling, collection of real world samples and photographs.

Ms. J. Iglesias• Read 3 novels:

• Matthew Díaz and Armando Márquez are two true gentleman with excellent conduct and grades.

• Participated in the Fairchild Challenge.

• Completed a total of 10 chapters.

• Performed a lab for each chapter.

• Created index cards for every animal group.

Mr. J. Flores

• Mr. Flores reports that students completed chapters 1 through 6 during the first semester and he is proud that they are working well!

Mr. J. Forte• Completed first semester chapters and

extra credit assignment on area and perimeter.

• Studied most of countries of the Western hemisphere.

• Looking forward to the rest of the world next semester.

• Learned how to find a point on Earth’s surface by using longitude and latitude.

• Learned the five themes of geography.

• Manuel Fernández showed genuine interest, relates real-world issues and has an A.

• Alexander Vidal has shown outstanding performance.

• Introduced to Field Hockey and Ultimate Frisbee.

• Learned rules and importance of group unity.

• Fitness and hand/eye coordination was evaluated.

• Eduardo Abascal and Nicholas Peterson for positive attitude and cooperation.
