To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the arrival of the sea lions at PIER 39, Aquarium of the Bay engaged 30 local artists to paint 6’ tall sea lion statues in their own unique style. All 30 statues will be on display for the Anniversary of the Sea Lions‘ Arrival from January 17 - 20. Afterward, the colorful sea lion statues will be placed around San Francisco to greet residents and

guests at premier locations all year long!
