IN CONCLUSION

• Joint-Use model can be successfully used for elementary school development in urbanizing

areas.

• The regulations for edge sites played an important role in design development.

• Effective learning environment is possible on constrained sites without sacrificing program

requirements for elementary schools.

• Both design and site selection have a major role to play in development of sustainable school

models.
