Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Graduated from Barnard with a degree in Russian. Working for 30+ years in radio: NYC, DC, NC, and now Chicago (WFMT.) Since 2010, I've been distributing "The Spanish Hour," a music show that I host and produce. Stephen and I are "Chi/Tri-coastal:" he working for the LA Times out of New York, I doing radio in Chicago and off-camera announces for CBS Sunday Morning, 48Hours, and whomever else asks! Memorable experiences? Marrying after swearing I was a confirmed bachelorette, becoming an auntie 4 times, and reconnecting after all these years, touched by classmates' generosity of spirit.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Our family lived on the east coast (Vermont and Rye, NY) until 1996, when we moved to Sisters, Oregon, 18 miles northwest of Bend. I loved raising our children in the Three Sisters Wilderness area, and becoming involved in many facets of this vibrant community. during these last 8 years my life has taken unexpected turns. I lost my second husband in 2008, started a local grocery, began working on a large organic farm, and now have embarked on a book project. We have family all over the globe, and travel often, here and abroad, to visit and for fun. Most awesome: African Safari seeing the majestic native animals in their natural habitat and road-tripping across this beautiful country with our daughter's belongings (after putting her on plane to Cali from NJ). 9 days to cross, meeting at UCSB to set up frosh dormroom. After Bates, I lived in Boston for many years, with much travel in Germany and The Netherlands along the way. In 1998, I almost moved to Amsterdam, but decided to return to NY instead and have lived in the Hudson Valley since. (It was only then that the Pats and the Sox began to reward their fans with championship trophies.) In addition to work and play, I serve on several local non-profit boards in various capacities. I'm delighted to have shared so many fine memories at our reunion and since.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I moved to Manhattan in 1979 and eventually went to Columbia Law School (1984). Quickly, I moved to the NFP world, working at the Anti Defamation League, the Lawyers Alliance for NY and eventually becoming the Executive Director of Central Synagogue. Along the way I moved to Fort Green and then Gowanus, Brooklyn and creating a wonderful life there. My husband Tom retired three years ago, and I just retired this spring. We have a three month trip planned (in conflict with the reunion) and I then on to a new phase of my life.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Moving to Scarsdale in 9th grade and being the principal's daughter were memorable. I remain grateful for my classmates' friendliness at that very self-conscious age as well as for SHS's educational quality. Looking back, I believe the latter laid the groundwork for my wanting to become an academic. Professionally, a high point was receiving tenure at UMass Boston, a vibrantly diverse public institution. Privately, a low point was the death of my first husband from cancer. But I am very fortunate to have crossed paths with and to have married a friend from graduate school, Dan Cohen.

It led me to travel around the world to hundreds of climbing areas in 50 or so countries over the years. In the 80's I competed in the 1st professional competitions and was fortunate enough to eventually create a career revolving around my passion when I went to work for Yvon Chouinard (Patagonia) in his climbing hardware company, Chouinard Equipment. In 1989 i was part of the buyout team that created Black Diamond Equipment from the sale of Chouinard. I have remained connected with BD since and continue to climb.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Left Scarsdale to go to Georgetown and now I'm working there. There have been other stops along the way. I finished my Ph.D.at the University of Maryland in history in 1996. I'm an expert on the history of the African-American community in the District of Columbia. When I work for love, I take projects related to that subject. But when I work for money (and a measure of contentment), I have worked for the AFL-CiO, National Endowment for the Humanities, and PNC Bank. I have tons of friends and live in one of the coolest cities on the planet, Washington, DC.

I moved to L.A. in 1990 where I had recurring and guest starring roles on dozens of TV shows and small roles in seven feature films. In 2002, Joshua Malina and I created “Celebrity Poker Showdown” for Bravo. With Hank Azaria, I wrote and produced “Nobody’s Perfect” which won Best Short Film at the 2004 HBO Comedy Arts Festival. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: BS in Industrial Arts Education-SUNY Oswego. Moved to San Francisco and was in the first group of women to work for PG&E on the Maintenance side of power plants. Left 10 years later as a Journey- Level Instrument Repair person. Lived in S.F. during the 1989 earthquake. Moved to Texas in 1992. Stay at home mom until I started working as a campus Tech for our local school district in 2004. Ran a 10K Mud Run Obstacle Course with my brother-in-law in 2014 - glad I did it, but once was enough.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Tennis was my life, as I played on the pro tour. Highlights were Wimbledon, US Open, French and Italian several times. Tennis gave me opportunity to play Maccabi Games in Isreal. Played for UCLA where I met my best friend and love of my life. Younger just finished playing 13 years of Texas Football. We travel to Chicago a couple times a year and NY/Lake Placid every summer. I am the chairmen of the Jewelers Board of Trade, a non-profit that fosters commerce in the jewelry industry with 2500 members. I am also quite active in Cornell University's College of Agriculture as past president of the alumni association. I am currently chair of the 40th re-union of Scarsdale High School. I am on the board of the Friends of Scarsdale Parks. I also work with the Scarsdale Sustainable Garden at the High School.
