Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Graduated from Barnard with a degree in Russian. Working for 30+ years in radio: NYC, DC, NC, and now Chicago (WFMT.) Since 2010, I've been distributing "The Spanish Hour," a music show that I host and produce. Stephen and I are "Chi/Tri-coastal:" he working for the LA Times out of New York, I doing radio in Chicago and off-camera announces for CBS Sunday Morning, 48Hours, and whomever else asks! Memorable experiences? Marrying after swearing I was a confirmed bachelorette, becoming an auntie 4 times, and reconnecting after all these years, touched by classmates' generosity of spirit.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Our family lived on the east coast (Vermont and Rye, NY) until 1996, when we moved to Sisters, Oregon, 18 miles northwest of Bend. I loved raising our children in the Three Sisters Wilderness area, and becoming involved in many facets of this vibrant community. during these last 8 years my life has taken unexpected turns. I lost my second husband in 2008, started a local grocery, began working on a large organic farm, and now have embarked on a book project. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: My husband is from Cape Town, South Africa, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. I've been there 21 times over 27 years of marriage! Love it! We have family all over the globe, and travel often, here and abroad, to visit and for fun. Most awesome: African Safari seeing the majestic native animals in their natural habitat and road-tripping across this beautiful country with our daughter's belongings (after putting her on plane to Cali from NJ). 9 days to cross, meeting at UCSB to set up frosh dormroom. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: After SHS, I enjoyed time in Maine, Vermont and Colorado, both studying and skiing. After Bates, I lived in Boston for many years, with much travel in Germany and The Netherlands along the way. In 1998, I almost moved to Amsterdam, but decided to return to NY instead and have lived in the Hudson Valley since. (It was only then that the Pats and the Sox began to reward their fans with championship trophies.) In addition to work and play, I serve on several local non-profit boards in various capacities. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I moved to Manhattan in 1979 and eventually went to Columbia Law School (1984). Quickly, I moved to the NFP world, working at the Anti Defamation League, the Lawyers Alliance for NY and eventually becoming the Executive Director of Central Synagogue. Along the way I moved to Fort Green and then Gowanus, Brooklyn and creating a wonderful life there. My husband Tom retired three years ago, and I just retired this spring. We have a three month trip planned (in conflict with the reunion) and I then on to a new phase of my life.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Moving to Scarsdale in 9th grade and being the principal's daughter were memorable. I remain grateful for my classmates' friendliness at that very self-conscious age as well as for SHS's educational quality. Looking back, I believe the latter laid the groundwork for my wanting to become an academic. Professionally, a high point was receiving tenure at UMass Boston, a vibrantly diverse public institution. Privately, a low point was the death of my first husband from cancer. But I am very fortunate to have crossed paths with and to have married a friend from graduate school, Dan Cohen.

Lived with a family in France and traveled through Europe. Moved to Connecticut and married Rebecca. Earned my private pilot license and trained in Aikido - both highlight achievements, though raising my daughter was the very best of times. After a 20+ year career in R.E. finance and affordable housing development, I found my calling running a non-profit land trust conserving natural lands and open space.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Went straight through college and law school at Harvard. Practiced law for 25 years while doing volunteer work in Jewish organizations, including as president of the Reconstructionist movement from 2002-2006. Then became a "professional Jew". In 2010 I co-founded The Mordecai M. Kaplan Center for Jewish Peoplehood, of which I am the Executive Director (see https://kaplancenter.org). Since then, I have worked as Coordinator for Child Psychology Internship Program at North Shore LIJ Hospital, as a school psychologist, and a supervisor and teacher of graduate students. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I started rock climbing at UVM and have spent my life making it my vocation. It led me to travel around the world to hundreds of climbing areas in 50 or so countries over the years. In the 80's I competed in the 1st professional competitions and was fortunate enough to eventually create a career revolving around my passion when I went to work for Yvon Chouinard (Patagonia) in his climbing hardware company, Chouinard Equipment. In 1989 i was part of the buyout team that created Black Diamond Equipment from the sale of Chouinard. I have remained connected with BD since and continue to climb.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Left Scarsdale to go to Georgetown and now I'm working there. There have been other stops along the way. I finished my Ph.D.at the University of Maryland in history in 1996. I'm an expert on the history of the African-American community in the District of Columbia. When I work for love, I take projects related to that subject. But when I work for money (and a measure of contentment), I have worked for the AFL-CiO, National Endowment for the Humanities, and PNC Bank. I have tons of friends and live in one of the coolest cities on the planet, Washington, DC.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I live full-time in China, in the southern city of Shenzhen, and manage an investment banking and advisory firm I started here in 2007 called China First Capital. It's as much a labor of love as anything, a fulfillment a of deeply-held ambition nurtured for at least 30 years. I was among first intake of American graduate students in China during early reform years. I grew up as a child totally and unaccountably fascinated by China. China can be a tough place to live, but I consider it a privilege to be here during a period of such monumental and largely positive change.

Did civil litigation at DOJ in DC, then by a string of completely unplanned events ended up in 1988 teaching law. Have been at SUNY in Buffalo for 15 years now. My work focuses on two areas, election law and federalism. Wife Lise is a lawyer and labor arbitrator. Daughter Sarah is graduating from college in May, 2016.

After 2000 it was time for a major switch and I devoted myself to pursuing a career as an artist. After many long hours spent at The School of Visual Arts in NYC I mastered the art of printmaking. I have also worked with fused glass, plastic resin, collage and encaustic. I am currently the director of Upstream Gallery, in Hastings on Hudson, NY, and have a studio in a converted factory building in Dobbs Ferry. I live in a bucolic town with no street lights, in a house facing a canyon, with numerous horse trails to run on while attempting to preserve increasingly creaky bones and joints. After working for 4 years in Philadelphia, and spending 1 year in Israel, I moved to northwest NJ where I lived and worked for 23 years. In August of 2014, I was offered a job at the only Reform synagogue in Montreal. I have been in Montreal for almost 2 years now. I love my job (as Rabbi-Educator), really enjoy the city, and find it fascinating to live in a completely bi-lingual city. Grad school at UC Irvine, yielding PhD in Neuropharmacology. Returned to Portland for post-doc, working with stimulants and antidepressants. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Over the years I have focused my career on building non-profit programs to support K-12 student interest in STEM fields and degree choices. The Career Cornerstone Center is a non-profit I run with student and teacher resources at www.careercornerstone.org, and I also manage Target Marketing (targetmarketing.org), a marketing communications company I founded in the 80’s. I love travel, especially to London to enjoying its parks, theatre, and history. Then it was on to a Swiss conglomerate for 3 yrs. I then started my firm and earned an MS in taxation. I am a CPA living in Dobbs Ferry, NY with my amazing husband, Randy. We married a bit late in life (knew one another for 14 years before we wed), so no children. We enjoy home, baseball and some travel.

Moved to San Francisco 1996 to dance and practice movement therapy; great experience, cutting edge dance and alternative health care with brilliant people. 2013 bought an 11 acre orange grove in Vero Beach, FL; studying health care for the planet, gradually transforming much of the small grove into a bird sanctuary. Soprano and soloist for a precious church choir. Traveled to 42 countries on 5 continents, appreciating many cultures, passionate about our world.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I am fourth generation jeweler in Midtown NYC. My firm has been in business for 91 years. I am quite active in pro bono activities other than work. I am the chairmen of the Jewelers Board of Trade, a non-profit that fosters commerce in the jewelry industry with 2500 members. I am also quite active in Cornell University's College of Agriculture as past president of the alumni association. I am currently chair of the 40th re-union of Scarsdale High School. I am on the board of the Friends of Scarsdale Parks. I also work with the Scarsdale Sustainable Garden at the High School.

Started ran, sold CampGroup which bought and started 15 camps. There 11 years. Left to start my own camp - Berkshire Soccer Academy for Girls and do consulting and investment banking in the camp world. Live in Armonk, NY since 1993. Married for 23+ years.
