A news reporter is someone who observes his or her surroundings in the widest way possible. They look at every detail of all words

and pictures for the benefit of the whole society.

WHAT IS A NEWS REPORTER

A reporter's job is to essentially report NEWS. It involves two steps: To collect

information (from all possible sources) and then to write down the story in a

journalistic style. Reporters have beats: special areas like education, civic affairs,

political, government and the stepping stone --- the crime beat, a vast area that encompasses police, courts, hospitals,

airport, economic offences wing like sales tax, income tax, customs and excise departments, and now cyber crime.
