A designer's 24-hour experiment to live and breathe a brand, then make it better

Transcript of Regions Experiment

expe r i enc ing you r

brand

Give myself a crash course on the Regions brand in less than 24 hours by interacting with it as a potential customer

would. Analyze the brand consistency and ease of

use and offer suggestions for improvement...all while giving

you a sense of my design aesthetic and showing you

what I could bring to your brand. <Phew, I’m tired already.>

the experiment

my current brand association

“Regions. They’re the ones with the GREEN BICYCLES, right?”

I need a bank account.

i wonder what has to offer?

SIMPLE FIX: an obvious button make it easy for me to do what you want

me to do <The bicycle’s there, too!>

SIMPLE FIX: clean up the clutter cut the words and have simple icons to

BEFORE

AFTER

Obviously this isn’t the world’s most perfect website, but with just a few simple tweaks using your existing design elements,

I took the home page from cluttered to clean and gave

it a fresh new look. Just imagine what we could do

with more time and teamwork.<I’m excited...are you?>
