How racially diverse was your neighborhood?

A: My neighborhood was not racially diverse at all. Everyone was taught that everyone was equal.

What message about race have you received from your family, friends, and schools as you grew up?

A: As I was growing up, I was always taught that everyone is created equally. No race was better than another and I'm very thankful to have been raised that way.

How has race shaped your life?

A: Race has shaped my life by guiding me to never discriminate against anyone.
