What message about race have you received from your family, friends, and schools as you grew up? A: As I was growing up, I was always taught that everyone is created equally. No race was better than another and I'm very thankful to have been raised that way. How has race shaped your life? A: Race has shaped my life by guiding me to never discriminate against anyone.
