Mid-Year Reviews And the Mid-Year Review Checklist

Why?

FEVS - What is it?• The Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey is a tool that measures

employees' perceptions of whether and to what extent conditions that characterize successful organizations are present in their agencies.

• The results set a baseline for ongoing Human Capital assessment

in the Federal Government.

• The survey provides general indicators of how well the Federal Government is running its human capital systems.

• The survey results provide senior managers critical information. OPM and agency managers will use the findings to develop policies and action plans for improving agency performance.

2016 FEVS is “Live”• If you have been sent a FEVS survey PLEASE

COMPLETE. As few as 20% of NGS employees get the survey so your response is important

• Visit http://hr.commerce.gov/FEVS for more information regarding the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey, including answers to frequently asked questions.

• Please direct any additional inquiries to CommerceSurveys@doc.gov.
