VICI Mat/Sen nitrogen purifiers are optimized for the highflow nitrogen gas supply used on LC/MS instruments.Several types of contaminants are detrimental to LC/MSperformance notably moisture, hydrocarbons, halo-carbons, and oxygen. A Mat/Sen nitrogen purifier moduleplaced in line with the nitrogen gas delivery system removesthese contaminants, retaining them for the operating life ofthe purifier.The purifier reduces most contaminant levels from manyparts per million to levels that are below the lower limit ofanalytical detection, and absorbs a larger number and agreater variety of contaminants than other commonly usedadsorptive materials. In particular, the Mat/Sen nitrogenpurifier has been shown to out perform the carbon-basedhydrocarbon traps previously used for this application.

Caution: This purifier is designed to be used with nitrogen gasproduced from liquid nitrogen, or with nitrogen gas containingless than 500 ppm of oxygen.
