Form form sentences

Verb + ing rules o กริยาส่วนใหญ่เติม- ing ได้เลย

Ex. play – playing do – doing

o กริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย ie ให้เปลี่ยนเป็น y แล้วเติม – ing

Ex. lie – lying

Verb + ing rules o กริยาพยางค์เดียว มีสระตัวเดียว และพยัญชนะสะกดตัวเดียว ต้องเพิ่มพยัญชนะสะกดอีก 1 ตัว

แล้วเติม – ing

Ex. run – running sit – sitting

ข้อยกเว้น ถ้า x เป็นตัวสะกด ให้เติม - ing ได้เลย

Ex. box - boxing

Verb + ing rules

o กริยาที่มี 2 พยางค์ ซึ่งออกเสียงหนักที่พยางค์หลัง และพยางค์หลังมีสระตัวเดียว ตัวสะกดตัว

เดียว ให้เพิ่มตัวสะกดเข้ามาอีก 1 ตัว แล้วเติม – ing

Ex. admit – admitting begin - beginning

Verb + ing rules o กริยาที่ลงท้ายด้วย - e ให้ตัด - e ทิ้ง แล้วเติม – ing

Ex. dance – dancing take – taking

o ถ้าลงท้ายด้วย - ee ให้เติม – ing ได้เลย
