SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Conclusions

Code-switching is a natural behavior, and it usually happens in informal conversation both direct and indirect. The reasons for code switching have nothing to do whether the context of the conversation is direct and indirect or is computer mediated. The participants code switch naturally in online conversation. Moreover, the participants consistently used more Cebuano (participants’ native tongue) than English as the base language in online conversation.
