Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Collect all your ingredients

Sauté brown sugar, nuts, ginger, and butter in a frying pan.

Spread the mixture.

Layer pineapple slices on mixture.

Add the cherries.

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.

Combine sugar, butter, and egg yolk.

Mix flour, salt, and baking powder.

Add the flour mixture and milk to the sugar mixture.

Add flavoring.

Beat egg whites until it forms stiff peaks.

Fold egg whites into

the cake mix.

Pour the cake mix into the baking pan

Place in oven for 45 minutes.

Once done, flip it upside down onto a baking sheet. Enjoy!
