Vehicle access to Denali Park is limited. Trained naturalists conduct bus tours of the park.

Mt. McKinley is in the Denali Wilderness area, which covers2,124,783 acres. The entire Denali National Park and Preserve

is 6 million acres.

Denali “The High One”

Named after President William McKinley Hghest peak in North America, 20,320 feet Has two major summits, and is referred to as the McKinley cluster Five large glaciers flow off the slopes of the mountain

cows and the young are calves.

Canada Lynx: has large, padded paws for hunting in the tundra snow. A full-grown male only weighs 18-24 pounds.
